I am watching the LAST season of Lost…I have THREE EPISODES to go…

SORRY I DIDNT TEXT YOU BACK DANIELLE! I got busy and figured I would update on here for all to see :)

Dad -

First of all, if you didn’t know, my dad had been going through chemo for the two spots on his brain that they found last summer. Well, recently, the drs found another spot that is growing pretty fast. They wanted to see what it was, so they stopped the chemo and decided to do a biopsy on that third spot.

He had the surgery yesterday (3 hrs long!) and the drs said they removed most of what they could. The spot turned out to be part scar tissue from the radiation on the other two spots and part tumor. He didn’t know how much of the spot was what, but we should know more later this week. He said that it looked to be a stage 3 or stage 4. He said said he couldn’t get a clean removal because it is involved with the brain around it, so that will probably mean a higher/longer dose of chemo…i really dont know…that is also something we will know more about next week when we meet with the oncologist.

Dad is doing fine and will get to come home tomorrow! We are all praising God…it could be worse! My dad is the strongest man I know and he is staying positive and giving all glory to God!

On another note, TEACHING! -

For all you wonderful teachers-to-be…

Start studying for this dang TExES Certification test early! There is too much to cover to be doing it last minute!

I take my test on Thursday, and that will be the last test I’ll ever have to take! (well, if I pass!)

I GET TO ORDER MY GRADUATION INVITATIONS THIS MONTH!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!! :)

I absolutely LOVE it!!!

I am in a third grade classroom right now, and they are so sweet! The kids are still small enough where they don’t have attitudes really and they still listen to you when you tell them to be quiet haha. (well, most of the time:) )

I have had the best time this past week not only with the kids, but with the teachers, too! I was able to work with one of my 6th grade teachers, and I absolutely LOVE it! It is definitely a blessing to be able to work with her and learn from her!

I have also seen many more of my old teachers/principals there, and I am just having the best time.

I get to start teaching on Monday! :)))) I will take over the afternoon part of the day, and then the next week I will start doing it all on my own! I am a little nervous, but I realized that this is just practice, and the teacher will be there if I have any questions.

Operation Lose Weight is in full affect :)

Went to a body pump class today with Tiffany and a zumba class after that…I am SO out of shape! I don’t think I have used some of those muscles in a very long time!

This is my FAVORITE time of the year!!!!!!! :)))))))))) I move home on Friday! Finally!!!!!!!!

My grandmother is in the hospital…she had a stroke today and is paralyzed on one side…please pray for her.
